Our Company
Beckit Inc started out as a home office for Becky as she represented various manufacturers and distributors of masonry products. Eventually Becky realized that for samples alone, she was out of room in her home office and would have to expand into a bigger location. It occurred to her that if she opened a warehouse she could have the office space she needed, storage for samples, and she could even start carrying products in the warehouse for immediate sale to contractors. Now Beckit Inc is proudly carrying a great selection of products which include St. Mary's Cement, IPCO Products, Hohmann & Barnard products, SGS (Solomon Grind) Mortar Colors (six colors in stock) , W.R. Grace Dry-Brick, Marshalltown Tools, and a wide variety of fireplace and other supplies.

Our Employees
Beckit Inc. is owned and operated by Becky Kress. Becky started in the masonry industry in 1998 at a large block manufacturing facility. After seven years, serving most of that time as Sales Coordinator, Becky decided to move on to other challenges which eventually brought her to start Beckit Inc. She is passionate about her job and enjoys knowing and still learning about the many masonry products on the market today.

Becky Kress, President
Becky brings ten years of experience in the masonry industry into this job. She has been selling burnished and glazed block, split face block, gray block, stone, mortar and other materials since her time at Northfield Block Company where she served as Sales Coordinator for a number of years. She worked with many of the mason contractors in the Chicagoland area and also spent a lot of time helping architects with the technical aspects of masonry products. She then spent some time working in a mason contractors’ office before deciding to delve into distributorship. At the helm of Beckit Inc Masonry Products Becky applies her acquired knowledge to working with architects to get her products specified and also to working with mason contractors to make sure their needs are met. It is important to her that customers are able to rely on her to get the job taken care of, from making sure the order is accurate to getting the product on the job on time. She goes to great lengths to achieve that goal. Just ask her contractors. Call to see what she can do to save you time and money.
Helen Wrobel – Office Coordinator
Helen joined Beckit Inc. in January 2008. She brings a wealth of experience in office/administrative work as well as customer service. She has served clients in a myriad of roles and has definite ideas about what it takes to make a good customer service representative. The first time you speak with Helen on the phone you will understand what we mean by customer service. She understands time constraints, urgency, immediate need, frustration and the whole range of things that come with being a contractor. Whether you need information for a bid, or have billing questions and just want to get the issue off your desk, Helen will make sure you get what you need as quickly and accurately as possible. Helen has a contagious laugh and a great sense of humor. She learns quickly and makes things easier for the rest of us. She loves her church, her husband and her family. Call her any time and get the answers you need or just call for a pick me up. She will keep you in stitches.
Tommy Kress, Warehouse Manager
Tommy Kress is our warehouse manager. He is here to make sure the warehouse is well stocked and that customers who come to the warehouse to purchase masonry supplies are well taken care of. Tommy is one of those guys who loves to tinker with mechanical things to figure out how they work and he has a goofy sense of humor. He would love to meet you and once you get to know him you will want to come visit often. We stock many different products here in the warehouse and if we don't have what you are looking for let us know. We are always open to suggestions. Come see us soon.
Christopher Kress- Sales and Architectural Representative
Chris is the second half of the sales and architectural representative team, working with Becky to promote products. He enjoys what he does, mostly because he gets to develop relationships with people. Chris' number one desire is to establish himself with his clients and architects so they are comfortable and confident enough in him to call him for all their masonry needs. He understands the need for him to prove his desire to take exceptional care of the clients needs and he works hard to gain trust. Chris is a happy guy with a quick warm smile who loves to play his bass guitar and study theological issues. He has a great sense of humor and does wonderful impressions. He spends a lot of time with his siblings and with his girlfriend but is an avowed bachelor, at least for now.
